Today new members of Mini Vinnies met for the first time. We began our session with a prayer and the pledge then discussed what is the role of Mini Vinnies in our school and community.

The children who wanted to run for the position of President, Vice-President and Secretary delivered their speeches to the group. Votes were held and the positions were filled. All the members who took part were thanked and new position holders congratulated.

Today Mini Vinnies began their Christmas Cards project. We have to complete 70 Christmas cards for our Parishioners by 5th of December. On that day Mrs Hamsworth and Mrs German from our St. Patrick`s Parish will come to collect the cards and deliver them on the 8th of December to our Parishioners. Also  on the 5th of December Mrs Hamsworth and Mrs German will be chatting to Mini Vinnies about their role in St. Vincent de Paul.

We are nearly at the end of making our Christmas cards. We can not wait for Mrs Hamsworth and Mrs German to come to collect the cards and deliver them to our Parishioners.

The Mini Vinnies have successfully completed Christmas cards project. Today members of the SVP of St Patrick's Church Mrs German and Mrs Harmsworth came to collect the cards and later in the week they will deliver them to the sick and elderly of the parish. They also spoke to us about the history of the SVP. We learnt many interesting facts.
