St. Patrick’s RC Primary School 

Grant Allocation

2023-24

Each year the Welsh Government allocates a specified amount of money for schools to help improve attainment for pupils from deprived backgrounds, specifically those who are eFSM.

  At St. Patrick’s we use our PGD funding to:

•   Run Intervention Programmes
•   Subsidise educational visits to allow equal opportunities for all.
•   Enhance health and wellbeing provision and experiences. 

We monitor progress and evaluate the effectiveness of our provision. Plans for the PDG are integrated into our School Improvement Plan as our strategies form part of our whole school drive to  raise standards and meet the needs of all learners.

The provision of these whole school strategies and targeted interventions ensure that every eFSM learner benefits as an individual. The school as a whole improves its capacity to support all learners to reach their full potential.
