CAFOD The Big Lent Walk
This half term, we, as a school, are taking part in CAFOD's Big Lent Walk to raise funds for Global Poverty. We have to run a staggering 2000 laps of our playground!

CAFOD South Wales Turley and Syria Earthquake Appeal
With the help of Mrs Jones and our Little Disciples, we gathered in thought and prayer for those who have been affected by the earthquakes in Turkey and Syria.
We held a non-uniform day and raised over £750. We hope and pray this helps towards their healing.
Crochet Club have been busy making 'Peace Fans' in an appeal to help the victims of the disastrous earthquakes that shook Turkey and Syria this month.
Pray for Pakistan
Our pupils took some time to think and pray for those struggling with the devastating floods in Pakistan.
Velindre Cancer Centre Fundraising
We raised £385.19 for Velindre Cancer Centre by wearing red to school and making generous donations!
Our Minnie Vinnies have been making some beautiful and thoughtful cards for our elderly and sick parishioners. Mrs German, our friend and parishioner is going to distribute them this week.
As part of their 'Healing' topic in RE, Y5/6S conducted research on care facilities, such as, Ty Hafan, to explore how people care for and heal the sick. The children collaborated to create informative presentations and used these to feedback to their peers.
