Supporting Early Read Skills
We use as a home reading support Oxford Owl which is an online reading resource. You'll find the link at the bottom of our class page which will take you directly there.
These are the Foundation Phase Letters and Sounds Key Words to help your child develop their early reading skills.
Please practise these daily and only introduce one or two new words at a time and most importantly make it fun with lots of praise.
Once your child can read the words from a phase, it would help them to revisit these known words regularly to keep them fresh in their mind.
