Language, Literacy and Communication 

Spellings are assigned every Wednesday via SeeSaw. 

Please put the spellings into sentences and post on Seesaw.

Reading

Encourage your child to look at an 'interest book'  each week.  This book can be read together with shared reading. This will encourage them to read for enjoyment.

Your child can also use ‘Reading Eggs’ at home. The children use it during Guided Group Reading session so are really familiar with it and they really enjoy it.

Mathematical Development  

Maths homework will be set every Wednesday to be completed by the following Monday via a link on seesaw. These are related to specific learning skills and the homework challenge will be set on Maths seeds. The children will need to log in to complete the set task and a screenshot of them completing the activity can be uploaded to Seesaw. 

Little Explorers  

Carry out your own independent enquiry related to your school topic. There are also independent learning challenges for you to complete on the Topic Overview every term.
