Mini Vinnie's had their first meeting today. They were welcomed by Mrs Danilowicz and Mrs Collins, who explained what being a Mini Vinnie involves, and its importance. Having understood this we took our Mini Vinnie's pledge, then said our prayer. It was also explained that within our group there are roles of President, Vice-President and Secretary. Members were asked to prepare a short speech for next week, if they wish to apply. We also discussed past projects and new projects they would like to undertake.

In today’s session the Mini Vinnies presented their speech wishing to apply for the position of President, Vice-President and Secretary. Children delivered their speech to the group. Votes were held and the positions were filled. All the members who took part were thanked and new position holders congratulated. 

08-10-2024

Due to clash of commitments we have lost 4 members. Positions will be filled as soon as possible. New Secretary was appointed and congratulated. Members have also decided that they would like to make Christmas cards for the elderly parishioners of St Patricks. This will be discussed more next week with our new members.

22-10-24

Mini Vinnie's is now back to full capacity. New members were welcomed and pledge was taken. Christmas card designs were also researched and picked. Resources such as card,glue and scissors, were collected in rediness for us to begin making 75 cards for the parishoners.

Today Mini Vinnies began making Christmas cards for the sick and elderly of our Parish. The group was very excited and enthusiastic  to work on this project. We used the idea  Mini Vinnies discussed in previous meeting on design of Christmas cards.

Mini Vinnies are extremely close to completing 75 Christmas cards for our parishioners of St Patrick`s Church.

There are just a few messages left to write in the cards. This is the message the children decided to write on each card :

                         On the occasion of Christmas, we pray that you are blessed

                          with the best of health and happiness.

                             Merry Christmas and happy New Year

Today Mini Vinnies met with Mrs Hamsworth and gave her the Christmas cards so she could deliver them to elderly and parishioners in St. Patrick`s church.
