20.10.23 Councillors discussing and writing the new Eco Code

Friday 9th October 2023

We carried out an environmental review which led to us deciding to concentrate on biodiversity, water and waste minimisation in our school. We found we are wasting too much and not recylcing correctly.
Taps observed being left on in toilets.
Need to develop school grounds to provide safe areas for a variety of insects, birds and other wildlife. Also need to introduce a variety of different plants to encourage wildlife.

Eco Councillors looked after the customers of Uniform Shop and Big Bocs Bwyd. We raised £15 by selling reused uniforms. We were given the Headteacher's sticker. Well done Eco Council!
