Immersion Day-Cardiff Castle
We had a wonderful school trip to Cardiff Castle as part of our focus on Cynefin – exploring our heritage and the history of where we live. The children thoroughly enjoyed a guided tour of the castle, learning about its fascinating past and discovering who lived there many years ago. Elizabeth led an engaging workshop where she told us a magical story about two dragons, which captured everyone’s imagination and linked beautifully to Welsh history. We had the opportunity to look closely at real pieces of armour and even try on different types of helmets, which the children were very excited about! They also took part in role play using puppets to retell and act out parts of the story. It was a fantastic day full of hands-on learning, curiosity and enthusiasm. 🏰🐉
