Welcome to St Patrick's RC Primary School.

Dear Parents,

My name is Sarah Marie Jones, and I am proud to serve as the Headteacher of St. Patrick's RC Primary School, a role I have held for over three years. I am originally from the land of St. Patrick, Ireland, and so leading St. Patrick's RC Primary School means that this school community here in Grangetown is extremely close to my heart. It is truly a place that feels like home.

Over the past three years, I have been privileged to work alongside our dedicated staff, wonderful pupils, supportive parents and governors to continue building on the many strengths of our school. I am extremely proud of what we achieve together at St. Patrick's every day and remain determined to ensure that our school continues to build upon the success recognised in our excellent Estyn inspection in June 2022.

I can assure you that our school will continue to provide the very best education, outcomes, spiritual development and experiences for your children. They are, indeed, our greatest asset and the reason our school is such a wonderful place to teach, learn and achieve. Thank you for entrusting them to us. I look forward to continuing to work closely with you in nurturing your child's spiritual, moral, physical and intellectual development in an environment centred on Catholic values.

St. Patrick's RC Primary School has many strengths that should be celebrated and built upon. One of these is the rich diversity of the Grangetown community. We are a vibrant and growing multicultural school, and this is reflected in the design of our curriculum. My vision for education at St. Patrick's is one that reflects what it means to grow up as a child in Grangetown today, preparing our pupils to thrive in an ever-changing world while remaining rooted in our faith and values.

You, as parents, are the first educators of your children. I greatly value your views and ideas and remain committed to ensuring that we continue to meet the needs of your children and the wider school community.
