Our first meeting.

Our Eco Club recently presented a special assembly to the whole school to celebrate all the fantastic work they achieved last year. 

The children shared how they had helped to care for our school environment by planting six apple trees, growing a variety of fruit, vegetables and herbs, and taking part in litter picks around our school and local community, where they collected three full bags of rubbish. The Eco Committee also talked about how their work has helped to create a greener environment for plants, insects and wildlife.

The children did a fantastic job presenting to the school and sharing their ideas about how we can all work together to make positive changes for our planet. They reminded everyone that we all have a part to play, from saving water and turning off lights when rooms are not in use, to putting rubbish in the bins and looking after our school environment.

We are now looking forward to a new year, with lots more ideas and actions to help our school become even more environmentally friendly. We are excited to see what we can achieve together!
