Spring Term Topic Overview
A topic that focuses on the biological aspect of Science, in particular ecosystems, adaptations and survival. Living things and non-living things like soil, water, and air interact with each other. Ecosystems often contain many living things and can be as small as your backyard or as large as the ocean. The children will explore the importance of food chains/webs for survival within this topic. They will further investigate the adaptation of animals within different environments and how this impacts their chances of survival. Finally, they will explore systems within the human body.
