Spring Term 'Born Survivors'
A topic that focuses on the biology aspect of Science, in particular ecosystems, adaptations and survival. Living things interact with each other and also with non-living things like soil, water and air. Ecosystems often contain many living things and can be as small as your backyard or as large as the ocean. Within this topic, the children will explore the importance of food chains/webs in order for survival. They will further investigate adaptation of animals within different environments and how this impacts their chances of survival. Finally, they will explore systems within the human body.
