Autumn Term 'Victorious'
Immersion Day
In this topic we will explore the Victorian era, we will understand the importance of change through that the Victorians brought to South Wales and particularly Grangetown and the surrounding areas. We will study Victorian schools, worklife including child labour, the Industrial Revolution including migration in South Wales and finally the many inventions created. This topic will be supported through many experiences such as trips to St. Fagans, the Big Pit, The Manchester Science and Industry Museum and a visit from Grangetown History Society.
