What we do.

Our Rights Respecting Surgery was a huge success, with many of our pupils voicing their opinions.

We met with our deputy head teacher Mrs Perrett. We discussed all the issues that the children of St Patricks' brought to our rights respecting Surgery. We talked about a variety of subjects including our playground and school dinners. She listened carefully and will come back to us with some answers and solutions shortly. Watch this space!   

Techniquest Visit.

Thank you to " Child friendly Cardiff" for hosting the launch of "how to change the World" initiative. We had a fantastic day learning about Children's rights and sharing ideas with 35 other schools from across Cardiff.

Techniquest was a fantastic venue, especially when we had some downtime,with an opportunity to play on the equipment      

December 10th 2004 was Human Rights Day across the World.This year the United Nations focused on the theme of "Our Rights,Our Future, Right Now". This serves as a reminder of the ongoing importance of equality, Justice and dignity for all people World. This is especially poignot, when so much of the World is in turmoil and conflict.

Our Senedd group, Representing our Rights Respecting School, presented an assembly to the school about the importance of Human rights. They did a fantastic job,highlighting the need for all human beings to treat each other fairly and equally.
